| This is a gallery of my past, present,
and future projects. |

This was my first project
in my shop. I built it from rough lumber I got at a local saw mill
and it serves me very well.
At some point I'd like
to build a true solid-top European style workbench. |

I made these three
pieces of furniture from a stack of 30 year old pine from Holly's
parent's property in Connecticut.
The chest of drawers was made
for our son, Colin.
The bedside tables were made
for our bedroom. |

my Mom, Holly's Mom, and my Grandmother. Since my mom passed away,
I keep hers with me in the shop. |

I made the play tables out of maple plywood and designed the carts to
roll on wheels under the table for convenient storage. They're 4
feet long and 3 feet wide.
The train display case is made
of poplar and features shelves milled into tracks to hold the Thomas
collection. |

| This was a fun project made from a single solid piece of Black Walnut
and a 1/2" sheet of Mahogany plywood. I designed these from scratch
to fit into an opening vacated by a useless washer/dryer. |

This computer was built
in 1978 and it still works!
I have downloaded the SYM
software from the internet and installed it in an EPROM along with
a modern SRAM on an expansion card I put behind (you can see the
expansion connector in the upper right side of the case). |

| This is an old mahogany piece that was apparently dropped on the corner.
I have carefully disassembled it and will make replacement pieces
out of mahogany before rebuilding all the joints and turning it back
over to Holly for new upostery. |

I rebuild this one.

This is a project that Holly
found a blueprint for on the internet from Dalcraft (plan #595).
It features four dovetailed drawers, cabriole legs, antique brasses,
and stands 38in high by 26in wide by 15in deep.

We have this round oak
table that came from my grandmother's aunt's house in Roylston,
Mass. I have a picture of uncle Elliot sitting at this table in
the 1920's. Unfortunately, the table has seen some terrible trauma
and needs a new top. I'm going to build a new top and put it on
the old pedastel base. It has a set of four straight-back chairs
that go with it as well. |

This is a project I
created for my aunt and uncle's new home. It's based on the shaker
bedside table above, but extended to make it comfortable to access
the phone. |

This is the unfinished view.
The poplar and plywood carcus will be painted and the top will remain
natural cherry. |
|
The shelf is designed to
hold phone books. |
|
The drawer is a simple one
for storing stuff. |
|
|
This is a project still
in the investigation stage--Holly has to decide exactly what she
wants and then I'll build it... |

their elegance in design and challenges in woodworking. |
